Spring is upon us! We still have two more “winters” to get past. One is Dogwood winter and then Blackberry winter. We have passed Redbud winter a week or so ago. Trees are blooming and buds are popping and the festivals and activities are ramping up! And yes ramps are just about ready! Check out this site if you’re not sure what ramps are or how they are used! What are Ramps?

You still have a week or so for the Wine Highway! Check this site for the member wineries participating this year. Georgia Wine Hwy. It ends March 31 having run all the month of March. One is a leisurely stroll and the latter, a challenging hike. The end results of both are thousands of blooming daffodils!

Downtown Murphy will begin hosting Art Walk on the first Friday evening of the month beginning in May and running through October. Come see what’s new downtown!
