Summer Time!

7/30/2018

Summer time Car Cruises, Event Venues, and Things to DO! So Much Going On!

Brasstown Valley Resort This is a wonderful place and it’s just outside of Blairsville in Young Harris! Stables, golf, hiking, resort/spa and wonderful food are their claim to fame! You can rent a hotel room or a cabin on their grounds! We love Brassies to get a bite to eat, shoot some pool, and watch a game on their many screens around the place! It’s a wintertime stop to enjoy their huge fireplace while watching some football!

Geogia Mountain Fairgrounds So many things happen at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and it’s practically in our backyard! Car shows, arts and crafts shows, and music too! Check out their calendar of events! This is a great Christmas Time destination to see the many lights on display!

The Ridges Resort This place has it all! Check out their site and see all the activities as well as the accommodations that they offer! The Oaks is a great place to eat and it’s all on beautiful Lake Chatuge!

The View at Butternut Creek Golf This is an excellent place for a quiet lunch overlooking the beautiful golf course and of course, the awesome mountains! Located in the main building on the second floor, it’s a bit hard to find but you won’t’ be sorry you took the time and effort to get here! Good food and great service in a beautiful spot with a great view! Enjoy! Lunch ONLY! Oh and it’s in Blairsville!

Cherokee County Venues Are you thinking of having a family reunion or maybe a wedding here in the mountains of Western North Carolina?? We have some beautiful venues available for just such occasions! From Barns to party halls, Cherokee County offers some beautiful back drops to that special day!

Cherokee County Event Calendar Restaurants and local businesses list events coming up in the next month. Trivia at Shoebooties, Wine at Bistro 29, and music at Chevelles! Good place to check to see what’s happening in our town of Murphy!

Festivals and Events! Great site! Here you will find events happening all over Cherokee county and beyond! The Foxfire Festival and a hard cider event at Mercier in Blue Ridge to just name a few of the things going on in the area.

Facebook events in the area! I stumbled upon this Facebook site for Blairsville and it was just jam packed with events in the area! There is Music, food, and all kinds of things happening in the next couple of months on this one page. Be sure and click on what interests you listed to the right of the page!

I love a good car show and the summer weather brings all the folks with beautiful cars out to play! And there are some fine vehicles here in the local area!
