Be Smart, Stay Safe
“These are the times that try men’s souls.” This quote by Thomas Paine is indicative of today’s trying times. I believe if we come together to help our neighbors and practice kindness and caring, we will come through this a more unified country as we are being reminded that we ARE all in this together. I hope you and yours are safe and well and following the guidelines in place to remain that way.
A few updates: the Georgia Wine Highway has been postponed like so many other things. I will be sure and let you know when it is rescheduled! Not to be missed! Our restaurants are open only to take out and if you can, please support your local business. Order take out or buy a gift certificate for use in the future. Small business will take the brunt of the hit. These mom and pop places need our support, and we need them in our community!
I will try and let you know when things are flowing here in Western North Carolina. Let me say this: homes are selling and new listings are coming on line all the time. Mortgage rates are historically low and now might be a good time to start that search for that home or piece of land you may be dreaming about!
